About Our Team
Dr. CINDY VANSICKLER
Dr. Cindy and her husband, Travis, live on an acreage north of Fort Dodge, IA. They have a beautiful daughter named Eliana and share their home with three lovable rescue dogs, Addie, Lexi and Charlie. Moving back to their home state of Iowa has been one of the best decisions they have made. They look forward to not only continuously putting work into their home, but into their business in Humboldt. Dr. Cindy is excited to have the opportunity to provide care to the residents of the area as well as develop relationships and invest into the community.
EDUCATIOn
Dr. Cindy is a licensed chiropractor in the states of Iowa and Minnesota. She is a 2006 graduate of Saint Edmond High School in Fort Dodge, IA. She completed 2 years at Iowa Central Community College before being accepted to Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. Dr. Cindy graduated in February of 2012 from Palmer College of Chiropractic. In addition to graduating with the honor of Doctor of Chiropractic, she also earned her Bachelor of Science degree in human biology. She graduated as valedictorian of her class with a 4.0 GPA. Her post-graduate education started in 2014 at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN.
The program involved 112 hours of education in the field of sports injury and rehabilitation. She passed her post-graduate board certification in 2015 to earn the distinction of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP).

Dr. Kaitlyn Heyrman
Dr. Kaitlyn couldn’t get away from the small-town lifestyle, so Humboldt was a fantastic place to start her professional career!
She has a rescue pup named Leila who accompanies her on many outdoor adventures. Playing soccer, rugby, working out, and all things plants are things that makes Dr. Kaitlyn happy. She is very excited to start applying knowledge she’s learned throughout school and continuing education to provide the best care for Humboldt County!
EDUCATION
Dr. Kaitlyn graduated High School in 2017 and started college at Concordia University of WI where she completed 2 years of schooling before being accepted into Palmer College of Chiropractic. She spent a lot of time in the Rehabilitation clinic on campus during her last year to fortify her knowledge in rehab and sports injury. She graduated in February of 2023 from Palmer College of Chiropractic with a Bachelors in Biology along with her Doctorate. Dr. Kaitlyn has been active in taking many seminars before and after graduation, including all 4 parts of the Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) course work.
Lilly Sorenson
Lilly has worked with Dr. Cindy in the past and loves interacting with all of the patients that come in throughout the day. Also, she used to be Dr. Cindy’s nanny to her daughter, Eliana and is now a proud mom to Carter John. Fun fact, her natural hair color is actually blonde. She is also a mom to her fur animals, a dog named Bo and a cat named Lemon.
